Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram is the CEO of RK Consultants. He is a broadly skilled Security, Intelligence Advisor and Analyst with proven expertise in driving intelligence requirements for protecting the strategic assets, civilian and military interests, locally and overseas. Has been working for over 22+ years within the Military and Intelligence setup in both strategic and operational capacity. The Intelligence/security deployments that have included assignments across the Asia, Europe and Africa. Recognized as confident communicator and an outstanding mentor who enjoys supporting others, demonstrating a lead-by-example approach whilst working as a team to ensure a unified approach. Retired from Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in November 2015. He is currently the Executive Director of the Center for Global and Strategic Studies, Islamabad (CGSS) since September 2016. CGSS is a international fame Think Tank with mission to help improve policy and decision-making through analysis and research, where he is responsible for implementing and developing plans, leading projects, and working with collaborators to achieve mission of CGSS of finding solutions for sustainable objective policies for regional, extra-regional and beyond. Giving an inlet to the development of an international level network of institutions & organizations which will be broadening the virtue of horizons of the scope of information for better & well defined analysis of advancing the steady state economy as a policy goal with widespread public support.
