Chinese ACFIC and Precise Development (HK) Ltd, China Delegation Meets with Federal Maritime Minister

On 28th October 2025, a Chinese business delegation from the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) and Precise Development (HK) Limited, China visited Maritime Affairs Ministry at Islamabad. During the visit, the delegation met with the Honorable Mr. Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs , along with senior officials of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs
The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and China in the maritime and logistics sectors, focusing on modern port operations, shipping connectivity, and maritime infrastructure development. Both sides emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral engagement to promote trade integration and regional maritime connectivity under the China–Pakistan economic framework.
The Chinese delegation included Mr. Yi Jiang, Director of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), Mr. David Chu, Chief Executive Officer of Precise Development (HK) Limited, China, and Ms. He He Amanda, Director of Precise Development (HK) Limited, China. The delegation also included representatives from various Chinese logistics companies and associations including Yunchuan Cross-Border logistics Company, Aviation Industry Association, Sanlian International Corporation, Super Era International Company and Xinfeng Iron Transport Company. The meeting was facilitated and arranged by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Director (Eurasian Region) of Precise Development (HK) Limited, China, who is currently hosting B2B basis Chinese Investments in Pakistan.
The delegation appreciated the Ministry of Maritime Affairs for its continued efforts in developing Pakistan’s maritime infrastructure and port modernization initiatives. They recognized the Ministry’s strategic vision in promoting regional trade, advancing the blue economy, and enhancing Pakistan’s position as a vital hub for shipping and logistics in South Asia.
During the exchange, both explored opportunities for cooperation in establishing direct shipping lines between China and Pakistan. The delegation expressed interest in encouraging Chinese shipping companies to utilize Pakistan’s ports for cargo operations, trans shipment, and regional distribution. Discussions also included prospects for collaboration in shipbuilding, port management, maritime training, and logistics innovation.
The meeting concluded with a shared understanding to deepen collaboration in the maritime sector and identify key investment projects for early implementation. Both reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan – China maritime cooperation, supporting sustainable port development, and promoting economic integration through enhanced sea connectivity. The Chinese side also appreciated the efforts of Muhammad Jawad Akhtar ,Advisor to the Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs for his continuous support to ChineseEnterprises in Pakistan,
