On 19th April 2025, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Chief Executive Officer, RK Consultants and CEO RK Consultants, Islamabad was conferred the prestigious “National Peace Award 2025” by the Peace & Justice Council, Government of Pakistan, during the “National Peace Seminar 2025” held in Islamabad. The award recognized his exceptional contributions to strengthening Pakistan’s regional connectivity, particularly through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and his efforts to foster economic collaboration with China and Central Asian states.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Mian Abdul Waheed, Chairman of the National Peace & Justice Council, lauded Mr. Akram’s visionary leadership in advancing CPEC projects, which have catalyzed infrastructure development, energy security, and cross-border trade. In his keynote address, Mr. Waheed emphasized the importance of CPEC as a “game-changer for Pakistan’s socio-economic future” and praised Mr. Akram’s role in bridging Pakistan with global partners.
The event was orchestrated by a team of eminent figures, including:

The seminar was attended by 100 attendees including policymakers, diplomats, scholars, and business leaders.
