Nanjing Hongyuan Mutual International Trade Company, China signed an MoU Agreement with HRL for Quartz Exploration and Minning project in Pakistan

On 20th April 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Nanjing Hongyuan Mutual International Trade Co., Ltd., a company incorporated under the laws of the People’s Republic of China with expertise in mineral exploration, mining technologies, and international resource development, and Habib Rafiq Engineering Private Limited (HRL Group), Pakistan, one of the country’s leading engineering, infrastructure, and construction companies with strong execution and regulatory facilitation capabilities.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Haris Naeem, Business Development Executive, Habib Rafiq Engineering (Pvt) Limited and was facilitated by Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram.

This MoU outlines a strategic collaboration between the two parties for the exploration, development, and mining of quartz and associated mineral resources in Pakistan. The partnership aims to combine the technical expertise and international experience of the Investor Group with the local operational strength and industry presence of HRL to ensure efficient project execution and sustainable resource development.

The objective of this agreement is to establish a cooperative framework for joint activities related to quartz exploration and mining. The collaboration is intended to support resource development initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and best industry practices within Pakistan.

Under the scope of the MoU, both parties will jointly identify prospective mineral-rich areas, conduct feasibility assessments, and develop comprehensive strategies for the exploration and extraction of quartz reserves. The partnership also aims to promote the adoption of modern mining technologies and facilitate mutual knowledge exchange between the organizations.

This collaboration reflects a shared vision to strengthen Pakistan’s mineral sector, encourage foreign investment, and contribute to the sustainable development of natural resources through advanced and environmentally responsible mining practices.
